I installed a new coilover suspension system in my car last week - lowered the car a bit and will improve the handling considerably. Hotness:

We spent this past weekend at a friend's house in Lake Tahoe. I went skiing for the first time (crazy, eh?)... I think I did great until my muscles stopped working after lunch :).  Happy 2007 and all that.
Don't want to give out your phone number for craigslist ads (or to that person you met at the bar? :)). Use http://www.craigsnumber.com - it'll give you a phone number (with extension) that will only work for 1 hour, 1 day, or 1 week - and automatically forward it to your phone anonymously.
I ran into (almost literally) Gene Simmons in the red carpet club in Denver last night.
She graduated with her SECOND bachelor's degree yesterday:

In June she leaves for Ghana with the Peace Corps for two years. Good for her.
Thanksgiving Dinner down at Tera & Micheal's house in LA:
...followed by a visit to Death Valley National Park:

One of the Stone Brewery's seasonal beers. Every November.

This time I bought 4 cases... I found that they get better with age: last year, I opened my last bottle after 6 months and it was much sweeter than the first. I put one case in the fridge and the other 3 in the front of our storage room (under the garage area, where it stays nice and dark/cool).
I always laugh at people who do that.. "what an idiot... how did they even get past the gate agent?"
Well, I will no longer laugh
.
I had to go to a wedding in Vegas, so I flew San Jose > LAX > Las Vegas and back (I could fly direct from SFO, but I wanted more miles!)
Yesterday morning on my way back... I was in the LAX Red Carpet Club. I emerged about 30 minutes prior to departure and made my way over to the gates 80-88 leg of LAX, where the United Express planes depart.
I've been using the Treo 650 for over a year now. Prior to the 650, I had a Siemens S55 (small GSM phone) and prior to that I had the Treo 180 (oldschool.. the first Treo smartphone).
The Treo 650 was not without its frustrations. The battery lasted about 36 hours with the phone and data connection (checking email) always on - less with bluetooth on. If I was taking a road trip, I'd get only 8-10 hours out of the battery while my car's bluetooth kit kept the connection open.
