Lots of awesome.

I don't have any pictures for you right now... but here's a summary of my trip thus far:

Tuesday, we landed at the Koln-Bonn airport and picked up my rental.  I reserved a BMW 3 series, but ended up with an A6 Avant 2.7T TDI Automatic (Turbo diesel wagon).   It's much bigger than I thought... and with the wrong transmission, but it moved well enough and had room for us 5.  We drove to Amsterdam, spent 2 nights there.  Hotel was quaint... good times.

Drove back to the K-B airport on Thursday so the other 3 guys could pick up their rental - they got an A3 1.9TDI.    Proceeded about an hour south of the ring to the Sliders Guest House.  Let me tell you, staying at this place is only second in fun to driving the Nurburgring.  One of the editors/writers for Performance Bike magazine is also staying here testing all of the 2007 600cc bikes from Kawi, Suzuki, Honda, & Yamaha.   Just hearing his stories are incredible.   Also here are two guys with STis and two with Integra Type-Rs, as well as other motorcyclists.    At night, everyone just helps themselves to the beer in the fridge (putting a tick mark next to your name so you'll be charged when you leave)  and exchanges speed stories in the common area.  You can also hook your camera up to the big screen to show everyone your laps.   The guy that runs the Sliders Guest House was interviewed on Top Gear in the episode where Clarkson drives a Jag around the 'ring.

Right now everyone is in the common area watching Super Troopers.

I've managed a 9:52 so far in this big heavy beast.  The tires don't like me.   I think I've done about 9 or 10 laps so far.

More later...
