it wasn't a bluetooth issue. It was 2 driver issues. One with the digitizer interface and the other on rare occasion a driver issue with the qwerty KB.

Well, it's Oct 30, and no 8525 on either the Cingular Premier (corporate) or consumer websites. Was that a typo?

Less of a typo and more

Less of a typo and more along the lines of an uninformed third party company. If you look at the author of this PPT, it's a company that does work (presentations? advertising?) for Cingular. The word on the forums is that Cingular discovered problems with the device's bluetooth and they're working with HTC to fix them - so they had to delay the release. I couldn't wait so I ordered an HTC Tytn and will have it tomorrow.
